A lot of Paramount+ viewers and followers might as well be Yellowstone fans, as the show is so loved, expanding its universe of shows. From Yellowstone prequel 1883 to Tulsa King, and the new Special Ops: Lioness, Sheridan’s shows share the same themes of individualism, strong men fighting the established norms, and what the American experience looks like to different people and communities. These are the types of shows that critics don’t necessarily like, however, fans can’t get enough of.

While Sheridan's shows are must-watch Paramount+ originals, there are several other exciting new titles coming up that subscribers won't want to miss. Over the next few months, Paramount+ is rolling out a strong slate of original programming to boost its streaming catalog. Here are some upcoming Paramount+ shows that are worth adding to your watch list as they represent promising new additions to the service!

All of these Paramount+ originals will be premiering in the near future. Their upcoming releases are highly anticipated and have the potential to become big hits for the platform. Mark your calendars for the premieres of these promising new shows.

Finestkind
This next upcoming title is actually a movie acquired by Paramount+ and which will be available to stream in November.
The crime thriller Finestkind features a star cast including Tommy Lee Jones, Ben Foster, Toby Wallace, and Jenna Ortega. The film comes from writer-director Brian Helgeland, and it’s set in the fishing port of New Bedford. In creating the script, Helgeland drew upon his own personal experiences spending a year as a Massachusetts fisherman after college. He said that coming from a lineage of commercial fishermen, he has lived and breathed the lifestyle. With this show, they will be able to authentically portray both the challenges out at sea and pay homage to these hardworking individuals for their significant role in supporting our communities.

Lawmen: Bass Reeves
Lawmen is an anthology series that will tell the story of other iconic lawmen and outlaws. This fourth November release on Paramount+, Lawmen: Bass Reeves, profiles the story of a frontier marshal whose real-life exploits rivaled those of fictional icons.
While the masked Lone Ranger remains an enduring symbol of justice from 1950s television, the achievements of Bass Reeves have received far less recognition. As the first black deputy U.S. Marshal serving west of the Mississippi River during Reconstruction, Reeves faced immense challenges enforcing law in the wild frontier as a federal peacekeeper in the Indian Territory. Through his outstanding bravery and success in apprehending dangerous outlaws, Reeves carved out a legendary career that deserves wider acknowledgment. This Paramount+ documentary aims to bring the remarkable true adventures of this pioneering lawman to a modern audience.

The Gold
This show is inspired by real events that took place in London, in 1983 and portrays the story of six men breaking into a security depot near Heathrow Airport. What happens is that they stumble across gold worth the US equivalent of $32 million. From Paramount+’s official synopsis, according to detectives, what started as a typical Old Kent Road armed robbery became a seminal event in British criminal history that’s remarkable not only for the scale of the theft.
