Fortunately, 2022 came with a ton of good movies to watch, from comedies to horror to action or superheroes, you have quite a lot of options regarding talented directors, filmmakers, actors, and super innovative films. Scream

The new Scream, the fifth in the series, had a lot operating against it. It's been more than 10 yers since Scream 4 struck the theaters, and in the meantime, Wes Craven who directed every previous movie in the series has died. Besides the famous Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, and David Arquette there are also some really good newcomers: Jack Quaid, Jasmin Savoy-Brown, and Jenna Ortega.

Kimi

From the master of suspense, Steven Soderbergh, you might want to watch this Hitchcockian movie that is Kimi. You'll see Zoë Kravitz in a superb thriller that's got a straightforward belief: essentially a current version of Rear Window.

I Want You Back

This is relatively common stuff for a rom-com, but this movie has remarkably charismatic actors. Plus, the lead roles are played by Charlie Day and Jenny Slate. You will love this film as it has a little bit of the typical recipe, however, it proves to be a worthy consolation movie and perfect for anyone who needs to see one today.

The Batman

On one hand, you have seen lots of Batman movies before. On the other hand, The Batman is something extra. Watch it to discover a new Dark Knight in Robert Pattinson, an actor that is known for his risk-taking talent. In the role of Catwoman, you have Zoë Kravitz, and a completely unrecognizable Colin Farrell playing the Penguin.

If you have seen The House of the Devil, then you will probably like Ti West's new movie, X, an A24 comedy about a bunch of young filmmakers who set out to make an adult movie in Texas. Spoiler alert: things don't go just as planned, but rather out of control.

Everything Everywhere All At Once

This one is a critically and universally acclaimed movie, and people just love it! And trust us, you won't find a more talked about movie. It's a story set in the multiverse and it has it all: from drama to action to intrigue and humor. It even has intense emotional instants.

Coda

Coda is a unique movie created with the majority of its dialogue in American Sign Language. It recently also won best picture. Indeed, it's a delightful movie for a feel-good evening. CODA isn't disregarding any film borders with the story, but some instants are just beyond loving. Troy Kotsur, who is deaf, was a well-deserving winner of the Best Supporting Actor Oscar this year for his role as fisherman Frank Rossi.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

Moving on with multiverses, this horror movie has proven to be one of the polarizing Marvel Cinematic Universe films to date. But you will probably love it. Because Raimi does a fantastic job making you think about the horror elements that the director crept in and Elizabeth Olsen's emotional performance as Wanda Maximoff.

Bodies Bodies Bodies

This might just be one of the most amazing and fun horror movies in recent years, focused on a group of young people trapped in a mansion (Amandla Stenberg, Maria Bakalava, Pete Davidson) during a storm. You will see many twists and turns that will surprise you and it's gonna be disturbing but funny at the same time.

The Whale

A film we can't wait for this autumn is The Whale. It's expected to be the best piece of the long-awaited Brendan Fraser comeback. Today, he is one of the favorites for the Best Actor Oscars. Darren Aronofsky the main actor in this film where interprets a 600-pound man isolated from his friends and family. Plus, a nice surprise: his daughter is played by Stranger Things star - Sadie Sink.

She Said

This film is based on the book with the same title and it depicts the story of how two New York Times reporters (played by Zoe Kazan and Carey Mulligan) uncover the truth about Harvey Weinstein's sexual misconduct allegations. Besides describing an essential and thrilling authentic story, the film - featuring Patricia Clarkson, Andre Braugher, and Tom Pelphrey - has massive potential to get a Spotlight title.

Knives Out 2

Perhaps one of the most awaited films of the year is the Knives Out sequel. Once again, the star detective played by famous and charismatic Daniel Craig will be encircled by a new puzzle as well as fresh new members of a cast (Dave Bautista, Janelle Monet, Kathryn Hahn, Ethan Hawke, Edward Norton) this time in Greece.
