5 Superyachts with extravagant beach clubs: the ultimate luxury experience

Recently Benetti's B. Now superyachts launched the first of their 50m models with a distinctive Oasis deck, indicating a continued trend towards impressive beach clubs. The Oasis deck, featuring a transparent swimming pool, distinguishes the yacht from others in the collection, but the overall goal remains the same: to elevate the onboard lifestyle by utilizing the stern. The beach clubs on these high-end motor and sail vessels offer a wide range of amenities, from cryo-saunas and overwater terraces to mosaic hammams and counter-current pools. Some even boast serene lounges that open on three sides to the water, while others feature bold pops of color. In addition to recent launches, we have also included several design concepts that showcase the vision for the future of beach clubs.

Project X - Golden Yachts

From the decks, it's usually the surrounding seascapes that capture one's attention. However, the glass-enclosed swimming pool of Project X is equally breathtaking. Adorned with silver Xs, the symbol that is prominently featured throughout the yacht, the pool's glass walls were designed to enable adults to keep an eye on children while they play and to bring additional light into the beach club. The pool is located at the center of the open-plan space, with its bottom suspended, and is accessible from the main deck aft. What’s more, the beach club is also a place dedicated to relaxation. In it, you will find two saunas, a massage place, and a huge, comfortable sofa that can be rotated in a way to face the sea. This is also perfect for when the children transition from the pool to the ocean.

Aquijo - Vitters/Oceanco

While most beach clubs are enjoyable when the yacht is at a standstill, the Aquijo, the largest ketch in the world, has watertight doors that allow for the yacht's spacious enclosed beach club to be utilized even when sailing at top speeds. This expansive indoor area boasts a three-sided seating arrangement perfect for entertaining at the water's edge. If guests become weary of the sizable central Jacuzzi, they can find entertainment in the spa pool which is naturally illuminated by an overhead skylight, or the hammam and sauna, both discreetly hidden behind glass doors. Once the yacht is anchored, you can get access to a large swim platform while also admiring the amazing views of the sea.

Tatiana - Bilgin Yachts

Regarded as one of the world's most exceptional superyacht beach clubs, Tatiana's multi-level huge recreational area. The club has not one but two pools - placed one above the other. It is also connected to the grand salon through a dramatic staircase. Guests can enjoy a refreshing swim in the enclosed freshwater pool or the glass-bottomed second pool on the main deck. When not swimming, the plush sofas and hammam provide a relaxing respite. The club also features a wet bar with glass columns, Carrara marble, and a backlit blue-agate floor. When the yacht is anchored, fold-out terraces on both sides allow guests to indulge in overwater treatments and experience their dreams come true.

Project FB605 - Benetti

The all-new "Oasis Deck" is the first of its kind: this yacht features an open-air beach club aft, with folding terrace wings that extend the beach club's width and an integrated infinity pool that sits flush with the deck. But that’s not all: there’s a waterfront lounge opening to let you enjoy some terraced areas. Plus, if you’re a sports person, you also have a gym where you can do your workouts in the open air. Commissioned by an experienced female owner, it was designed to replicate the luxurious beach club amenities found on Benetti's Lana but on a smaller platform. The yacht's seamless journey from the main salon to the open water indicates that the design team has achieved its objective.

Ahpo - Lürssen

Ahpo's expansive beach club, which doubles as a wellness area, was designed with no expenses spared. The style of this space focuses on multifunctionality and efficacy, with a plunge pool and an extra hammam as the key points of the yacht. And that’s not all, because guests can also enjoy the sauna, massage room, Jacuzzi, and bar. The setting is complete with curved metalwork and handpicked natural furnishings that extend the craftsmanship to the water's edge, providing guests with an enjoyable experience.
