What's the 2023 street style going to look like? Here are the trends!

Comfort and oversized clothes? 2023 is going to be all about that. Expect a winter with statement pieces. Why? Because the latest street style trends from this autumn and the beginning of the winter show us the way. Prepare your fur and fleece jackets, oversized pants, and gender-neutral outfits. If you like bags, the trends will be all about bright and small purses. Another trend that comes back is cargo pants and vests. And if you want to push your style a bit further, try goth or leather looks. These will be a statement and thigh-high boots will help to keep a skirt or denim shorts in use. Don't forget to add a pop of color: 2023 is the year of green, canary yellow, grey, olive, and brown. As for the shoes, these will be chunky but comfortable. Think oxfords, sneakers, and cozy tall boots. Wanna know more? Take a look at some of the street style coming trends for this winter!

Oversized cargo pants & tiny bags

This trend for large pants is still new and ongoing. So, take this opportunity and try on a more gender-fluid fashion. A pair of giant cargo pants can be outfitted with a long jacket and bag. This season, handbags are small and can add a dash of color to a wintery look.

Short jeans, nylons & high boots

The mini skirt movement of this year doesn’t have to finish just because it’s getting chilly. Socks and thigh-high boots go well with a skirt and denim shorts and allow you to get a bit of heat in climates that aren't too chilly. Deciding to sport denim shorts is probably the more militant of the two choices, although a super mini-skirt gets attention almost always.

Big jackets are back in trend

The large jacket will be back in fashion this winter and throughout 2023, so prepare yourself. Because this season is all about ease and large clothes make a strong statement. Not only for a ski trip but now a big jacket can be worn over something form-fitting. And 2023 welcomes more gender neutrality: we've got classic boyfriend jeans, larger sweaters, and big jackets. The colors are wonderful, especially green!

Athleisure & cropped sweatshirts

One of the rare items for which we can thank COVID is the trend of athleisure in the day to day life: sweatpants and tracksuits will be back in trend this winter 2023 but with a twist. They are up-to-date and modernized with broader silhouettes and cropped sweatshirts. Don't throw away your white sneakers to finish your athleisure look.

Utilitarian looks

If your jacket or pants have big pockets and look like you could go camping in them, then they're probably in fashion, if your outfit is right. This is a casual style but can be subtly clothed with oxfords and a classy elegant shirt. Also, you should know that flannels are in trend this winter.

Gothic looks

If you really want to make a statement, try a goth look. They're very trendy this winter and in the coming year. An all-black outfit, dark eyeliner, and chunky boots can put together a goth look that will take you out of the crowd.

Cozy warm jackets & large vests

Think about clothes memes. Yes, you've already seen that one with the ridiculously big jacket. So, winter 2023 is all about comfort and nothing says comfort more than a giant jacket. Although, it's not so big that it's ridiculous. It's just subtle and it keeps you warm all day long during wintertime. Plus, if it has texture it's even better. And another item that's in trend and adds both warmth and visual glamour to your look is the vest. Paired with a headscarf or a hat for more classic glamour, an oversized vest fits the big jacket trend. Choose puffy, warm, and gigantic: nothing is too big when it comes to a vest. It can even be green or another bold color.
