Staggering Ferraris coming soon: get a glimpse at this upcoming auction

Looking to buy a statement car? Look no further, as the Gooding & Company's upcoming Amelia Island auction will showcase a selection of highly sought-after Ferraris. There will be all premier examples of the iconic Italian marque's best models!

Don’t worry, you will find your match, as there will be something for nearly every type of Ferrari collector. What is more, you may even find it hard to pick a standout listing. That’s why we have some hints about it. A highlight of the collection is the 1962 250 GT SWB California Spider - a US-spec, a two-door roadster that boasts striking coachwork by Scaglietti and is finished in the striking Azzurro Metallizzato color. The Tipo 168 V-12 engine provides plenty of power, while its refined suspension ensures a smooth ride. Concerning the price, the auction house estimates the car will sell for between $18 million and $20 million.

In addition, there will be a 1958 Berlinetta - one of only a few GTs ever built and with a single-louver body style. This car is expected to sell for between $6 million and $8 million. Moving on, the 1953 Spider Series II, a fully restored Mille Miglia racer, is being offered for the first time in 35 years and is expected to sell for between $3 million and $5 million.

The Italian luxury car brand Ferrari will be well-represented with a number of premier models hitting the block. From the California Spider, expected to sell for between up to $20 million, to a 250 MM Spider Series II, which could fetch quite a lot, the auction has something to offer for any Ferrari collector. There are, of course, other noteworthy listings like a 1967 275 GTB/4 or a 1964 500 Superfast.

The two-day event will take place on March 2 and 3!

But if you’d rather stay at home -- and still get your hands on a statement Ferrari piece, we’ve got more news for you.

Bonhams will be auctioning off a one-of-a-kind coffee table that is sure to appeal to car enthusiasts. The table, designed by Alain Gervadino of Gervadino Design, features a Ferrari V8 engine as its centerpiece! Measuring 55 by 55 inches, the table is supported by four stainless-steel legs and a thick glass top. The car engine, once part of a Ferrari 360 Modena, has been painted in Ferrari red and adorned with silver Prancing Horse badges. The camshaft and crankshaft pulleys, fuel injectors, and coil packs are still visible, confirming that this was once a functioning engine, complete with a serial number.

This unique piece of furniture will be up for auction in February.

However, if the Ferrari V8 coffee table isn't your style, don't worry. The upcoming Bonhams auction will feature other brands as well. Gervadino Design, the creator of the coffee table, offers a variety of similar designs using engines from luxury car manufacturers such as Lamborghini, Maserati, and Abarth. According to the designer's website, each piece is crafted to highlight the unique features of the engine used.
